5 year Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF)

PSNC have finally announced a the new deal for community pharmacy (22nd July 2019). This guarantees funding for the next five years with annual reviews. There will be a number of changes particularly to QPS but the main change will be a phasing out of MUR (Max 250 this year and 100 next year) and a combining of the DIMIRS and the NUMSAS Services.

The new Primary Care Network DES (Direct Enhanced Service) is part of the new GP 5 year contract and has huge implications for how community pharmacy will need to evolve in the next few years. It will also affect how you need to work locally, as the relationship with individual GP practices and the new workforce will change.
